Notice of known product issue with HEM-7124 Blood Pressure Monitor

There is a known product issue with OMRON HEM-7124 Blood Pressure Monitor manufactured before Mar 20201.
In some products, there is a failure for the hypertension indicator [] to display on the monitor despite a blood pressure reading of 135/85 mmHg or higher.
You can continue to use the product safely even if there might be a failure of the hypertension indicator to be displayed.
If your HEM-7124 Blood Pressure Monitor shows a reading is higher than 135/85 mmHg and the hypertension indicator does not show up on the screen, please contact OMRON customer service at callcentre@ap.omron.com or 1800-419-0492.

1To verify the month of manufacture, please check the serial number on your blood pressure monitor unit. The serial number can be found on the rating label at the bottom side of the product, denoted by SN: [YYYYMM123456]. If the first 6 digits of the serial number (YYYYMM) is smaller than 202003, then the monitor is manufactured before Mar 2020.
